The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) on September 02, 2025, notified regarding the abeyance of circular on continuation of Modified Interest Subvention scheme for Short term loans (agriculture and allied activities) for the year 2025-26.
Please refer to circular No. 158/GSD-05/2025 dated July 01, 2025 circulated based on the guidelines issued by MoA & FW, GoI vide their letter No. F.No.1-4/2o2o-Credit-I dated June 16, 2025 on the Modified Interest Subvention Scheme for short term crop loans during 2025-26.
In view of the suggestions received from various stakeholders regarding operational challenges associated with these guidelines, the above circular may be kept in abeyance till further orders.
The revised circular will be issued in due course.
